Role of Account Managers

This position allows the employee a high level of freedom to organize and operate their book of business effectively. This position is supported by a sales team that supplies Account Managers with clients. Effective account managers develop quality relationships with their book of clients and encourage repeat sales through fast response rates and quality customer service.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage your own book of business by coordinating shipping needs and developing client relationships.

  • Work with shippers to provide transportation for various goods across the country.

  • Provide tracking and thorough communication on all shipments.

  • Negotiate and contract pricing agreements with carriers.

  • Plan and coordinate shipment schedules.


The Position

● Full time

● The Account Manager will source drivers and track shipments from 8 am to 5 pm or 7am to 4pm Mon-Fri.

● Account managers are expected to work a rotation of 1 weekend per quarter and 1 holiday every 2 years.

Salary and Benefits

  • $40,000 base salary plus uncapped commission

  • Account Managers begin with a base salary of $40,000, plus performance-based commission.

  • Applicants can expect to earn $55,000 - $75,000 within the first 2 years of employment with unlimited earnings potential.
